Adding a pre order item

A pre order item is just like any other product and so to begin with, create a new product with the the tag "preorder". You can now add the pre order item to the calendar by following the steps below.

Steps:

1. Copy the product id of the newly created product. The productID can be found in url of your browser. For example https://shopjustdon.myshopify.com/admin/products/9166868037 9166868037 is the productID

2. Paste the product id to the end of this link https://shopjustdon.myshopify.com/admin/bulk?resource_name=Product&edit=metafields.global.shipDate&ids= Example: https://shopjustdon.myshopify.com/admin/bulk?resource_name=Product&edit=metafields.global.shipDate&ids=9166868037

3. Enter the ship date of the preorder item in the Month Day, Year. Example September 7, 2020

4. The last step is to add the product to the collections Preorders and manually sort the products in the collection PreOrders. For example an item with ship date September 7, 2020 should be sorted above an item with ship data September 10, 2020
